Looking for a new residence? Three signs its a good neighbourhood!

An average Nigerian moves, three times in a five years. The reason is not always finance related (increase or decrease in  financial status). Part of the reason is perceived dissatisfaction with the residence or growing feeling of insecurity in the location. Below are there features that turn a residence into a haven.
1. Security presence: security presence makes a residence safe. It mustn't be police or Army. In most places, people contribute money to secure vigilantes to keep watch over them. This helps a lot and attract people to live in such places. Benefits that comes with security presence include, less violence, bad influence that comes from substance abuse like smoking of hemp and others as well as less encounter with area boys.

2. Good Road Network: when a location has a good road network connecting to the major road, its a thumbs up! Some locations where there are no good road network, sometimes you trek for minutes before sighting a means of public transportation. Car owners that find themselves in this kind of situation calls their mechanic two times a week which is bad.
N.B you can easily know how good a road network is when you visit during rainy season.

3. Topography of the location: if a location is way below the sea level, you are in to feel heat most period of the year and if way higher than the sea level and/or is located on hill top, you might not enjoy harmattan like others do. On the average Nigerian weather is one of the good ones in the world but why go for the good when you can get the best? *winks
